Dear Sir,

Yet again after 25 years of mismanagement and confusion there is to be another inquiry into this prime publicly owned site. This site deservers much more than the wasted consultations and failed proposals over all these years.

This will no doubt lead to further delays.

The council already has had a proposal, passed by themselves, that could have been implemented ages ago at a fraction of the cost of keeping the site derelict and not in use. Plans that have been acclaimed widely by the people of Twickenham.

The calling in of the plans of our 'City Fathers', by the Government Office for London (GLO) goes to highlight the complete incompetence of all our administrations over recent years, and the officers they employ, as this saga goes on.
