Dear Gillian Norton

I hope you are giving the public the opportunity to express their views on the future of this flagship site.

I still object to the notion of giving the site away and feel that whatever else happens, this is not an option. In fact, I will challenge that via Judicial Review if it is proposed to occur.

I was very impressed with the Ken Hathaway public open space idea. I feel an occasional medieval market would be good too and also a stage/bandstand on the river edge to revive the Eel Pie Island jazz legacy.

Should more substantial development be proposed and accepted, then the site should be sold using the planning controls to make sure a public amenity is provided and money allocated towards a new ice rink (ISIS - International School of Ice Skating) on the land adjacent to Pools on the Park.

Yours sincerely
Richard Meacock
