October 7 has been announced for the ward by-election for a councillor for Hampton.

This follows the unexpected death of Cllr Jean Matthews.

The candidates selected include the following:

Kanbar Hosseinbor, Labour

Stuart Leamy, Conservative

Suzette Nicholson, Liberal Democrat
