PALACE TO CHARGE FOR GARDENS
Hampton Court Palace announces plans to charge for some of its finest gardens for some of the year, with special season-ticket rates for frequent users.

THE MINISTER AGREES
In an adjournment debate raised by MP Vincent Cable, the Minister for the Arts, Estelle Morris, supports Hampton Court Palace's charges.

Police sealed off Richmond lock and river traffic after the Harbour Master found what appeared to be a 2nd world war bomb on 10 November, but which proved to be a dummy when removed by the Police Explosives Officer.
