WIN IN KEW

Jane Arneil had an easy victory for the Lib Dems in Kew with 1722 votes in the by-election on 18th December. The Tories had 1235, Greens 104 and Labour 85 votes, with a good turn-out of 46.6%. This is the second recent by-election victory for the Lib Dems.

Local people are celebrating the success of their campaign to register Chase Village Green.


The death has occurred of Alison Cornish former councillor for Richmond Town Ward. Alison was mayor of the borough in 1988/89 and served as a councillor from 1974 to 2002.
