COUNCIL PLANS
Richmond Council's leader and its chief executive have had an
open letter from the Friends of the River Crane Environment (FORCE)
asking the council to drop its chosen masterplan to develop the
area.

FORCE OPEN DAY
The
Friends of the River Crane Environment (FORCE) celebrate the Crane
Valley area, presenting proposals and inviting ideas for its future,
at an open day on Sunday 31 August.

CRANE DEVELOPMENT
APPROVED
Decayed,
neglected, derelict, overgrown, dangerous were descriptions applied
to Twickenham's Mereway Allotments as Richmond Council agreed
to redevelop the area along with the others in the Crane Valley
Masterplan.

A
snapshot of the conservation value of the Crane Valley shows that
Mereway Allotments and the Rifle Club are areas that provide for
a range of wildlife.
