A great place to shop |

Farmers' Markets offer local people the chance to buy organic and local, bringing some real food to the table from sources you can identify. The markets in and around London are up and running from the 8 and 9 January 2005. For those looking for a meaningful New Year's resolution, perhaps buying fresh local produce is a good one. There is a regular farmers' market on Saturday mornings in the car park at Holly Road in Twickenham with all kinds of goods, including bread, organic meat and cheese, seasonal fruit and vegetables, preserves, cakes, honey, eggs, herbs, plants and more. See the special London Farmers' Markets website for more details. See also Borough's Farmers markets are the way ahead Wednesday, December 29, 2004
