Evening on special educational needs

VIPS in SEN (the Voice of Independent Parents in Special Educational Needs)and SOS!SEN, the local independent helpline, offer all those with an interest the chance to hear expert opinion at an evening seminar at St Mary's Church Hall, Twickenham, on Tuesday 9 November at 7.30pm.

Those wanting to understand the right diagnoses, the suitability of provision, the availability of therapies, the help to parents, the changes needed, the costs and many other questions can hear from experts.

The key speaker is John Friel, one of UK's leading SEN Barristers, and the evening is chaired by Melinda Nettleton of SEN Legal Services.

Local MPs, councillors, teachers, governors, parents, and all those interested in the needs of children with SEN can come together to raise issues and voice their concerns.

Coffee is available from 7pm and the meeting will close at 9.30pm. To ensure a place call SOS!SEN 020 8979 8853 or email sossen@blueyonder.co.uk
