Jenny Tonge, MP for Richmond Park, attended the laying of the foundation stone of the new Queen Mary's Hospital in Roehampton on Monday July 5th.

The MP, with Melba Wilson, Chair of Wandsworth Primary Care Trust and Putney MP Tony Coleman, expressed her delight at the occasion.

"I have been campaigning to save Queen Mary's since 1998," she said. "I am so pleased we were successful. The new hospital will be a real asset to the local community."
